Enfield Life Saving Club membership is open to persons of any age and ability. To see what it means to be a member of our Club, come along to a Saturday morning training session and we can answer any questions you may have.

The club trains at Enfield Aquatic Centre, Portland Street Enfield on Saturday mornings from 8.00am to 10.00am. The season runs from October to March with a break over Christmas and January.

There are two types of membership: Competitor and Non-Competitor.

Carnivals and Championships

Members of Enfield Life Saving Club choose to compete in interclub lifesaving carnivals as well as State and National competitions. Each season, Enfield has a strong presence in all competitions to National level.

Interclub carnivals held throughout the season, include Mingara Life Saving Club and River Patrol Club, The Hills Lifesaving Club, Engadine Life Saving Club, and our own Enfield Life Saving Club carnival held in February. Interclub carnivals are fun and provide a healthy level of competitiveness as well as an opportunity to socialise with friends from other clubs.

State competition is usually held in March each year and members who have participated in two or more interclub carnivals are eligible to enter.

Australian Pool Life Saving Championships (Nationals) are held in January each year and members 11 years and older are eligible to enter.

Membership Types

Members are encouraged to compete in carnivals and competitions, but non-competitive members are also welcome.
